Details: John Kelly per Dunvegan Castle, assigned to Col. Henry Dumaresq, charged with neglect of duty and losing his blankets and other slop clothing. Witness John Mara, sheep overseer stated - about three weeks ago I went to the station on Mussle Creek where the prisoner is employed as sheep watchman. He informed me that his bed and blankets and other clothing had been burnt. I also found the prisoner laying in his hut instead of being out with his sheep. The Bench find the prisoner guilty and sentence him to receive twenty five lashes

Black hair, grey eyes. Lost a front tooth left side upper jaw. scar back of left wrist. Note - Has been absent a long time, supposed to be lost in the bush see letter from Bench Invermein dated 10 February 1836. (Three convicts by this name by this ship)
